About me

From St.Gallen, Switzerland. At home, everywhere.

From the bustling streets of San Francisco, the studious atmosphere in Boston’s libraries, to the tranquility in the Swiss Alps, I had the chance to call all of these places home. I guess, in that light, there are few fields of study that are more fitting than International Relations.

I’m currently a dual degree candidate in Law & Diplomacy at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and International Affairs & Governance at the University of St.Gallen. Furthermore, I’m a Press & Information Officer in the Swiss Army.

Before starting my grad degree, I worked for a year for Swissnex in San Francisco, a Swiss public diplomacy initiative. I got firsthand insights into the world of diplomacy, marketing, and startups, as a lot of the work revolved around introducing Swiss startups to the Bay Area’s vibrant startup sector.

While completing my Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of St.Gallen, I also turned my hobby — content creation — into work by creating numerous podcasts, videos, and other pieces of content for different institutes.

Diving into the world of digital content creation was helped by my experience in the traditional media sector. I gathered experience as a journalist for six months at the regional newspaper, gaining crucial writing and editing skills.

When I’m not in the library learning about the latest geopolitical happenings or familiarizing myself with various UN frameworks, I explore the places I find myself in with my camera. Photo- and Videography have been long-time passions of mine.

However, you won’t just find me strolling about with my camera. In winter, I like to explore the backcountry on my skis, skinning up mountains only to find the best deep powder there is.

During the months without snow, I kept myself busy playing American Football as the Quarterback for the St.Gallen Bears, winning 3 national championships in the process and experiencing the importance of team play & leadership every practice. Even though I don’t

My studies did play an important role in my extracurriculars, nonetheless. I became actively engaged in the world of Model United Nations, participating in the 2022 National Model United Nations in New York and leveraging my knowledge of global affairs paired with the leadership qualities gained throughout my experiences as the Deputy Secretary General of the 2022 St.Gallen Model United Nations Conference. This put me in the position to lead a team of seven Under-Secretary Generals over the course of a year, culminating in welcoming 150 participants from 4 continents to St.Gallen for a four-day conference.
